““You have to show that you stand by the values and follow this line of commitment, because you cannot give satisfaction to these haters,” says Oskar Szafarowicz, a guest of the Telewizja wPolsce24 news service.
Speaking to editor Bartosz Łyżwiński, Szafarowicz reported on today’s vulgar attack on one of Warsaw’s streets, in which a young PiS activist was insulted and hit by an unknown assailant.
Szafarowicz said he was approached in one of the small shops in Saska Kępa, where the attacker addressed him in vulgar terms, knowing that he was an activist from the youth wing of Law and Justice.
Then, as Szafarowicz was leaving the store, a man on a bicycle rode up to him and physically attacked him, punching and kicking him. Random people who connected Szafarowicz to his political activities came to the young politician’s defense.
After walking 50 meters [napastnik] he reached me, got off the bike and at first I felt him pulling me from behind, a few slaps on my back, people started reacting […] he kicked me really hard
– said Szafarowicz on Telewizja wPolsce24.
The activist also added that, in his opinion, the situation was caused by the spread of hate speech against the right wing, which once found a tragic outlet in the case of the murder of the late Marek Rosiak.
Given the extent of the breeding of hatred and contempt towards the right, I fear that unfortunately another “Cyba” is just around the corner

Incitement to hatred
Ed. Łyżwiński asked his guest if he had ever experienced a moment when he had had enough of dealing with politics and dealing with hate.
There were times when my parents were attacked indiscriminately and threats were made. This is always what hurts the most. (…) However, when I was attacked – even physically – like today, of course I had a moment of crisis, but I thought it was even more necessary to show that I stood by the values and maintained this line of commitment, because You can’t give satisfaction to these haters, who seem to have internalized the eight stars they shout
– replied Oskar Szafarowicz.
According to him, the left-liberal media bear a great deal of responsibility for fueling the spiral of political hatred in Poland.
In my opinion, unfortunately, all this is created by the left-liberal media, by those pseudo-authorities and politicians, because if they have nothing of substance to propose, and the only program is the destruction and collapse of the Polish state, then they have to program these people to hate and destroy.

It is clear that they want to destroy activists like me, intimidate us, oppress us, intimidate the families of these activists and even eliminate us physically. Unfortunately, it is their guru, like Donald Tusk, who sends the message that politics can only be done through hate.
