LGBT activist Bartosz “Bart” Staszewski mocked the comments that appeared around the case of Father Michał Olszewski, who expressed his support for the arrested priest. “Father Brawn’s Twitter bashing makes me smile with pity,” he wrote on the X platform in a nasty post. “Disgusting, city level,” said PiS MP Anita Czerwińska. “On the other hand, what can we expect from the defender of GRU officer Pablo Gonzalez, aka Pavel Rubcov,” said Andrzej Śliwka.
The court postponed the case of the complaint against the detention of Father Olszewski until October 18. It was also confirmed that the judge had not yet received the recordings from the police and the Internal Security Service. At that time, a crowd of people gathered in front of the court to show support for the arrested priest. When the priest was escorted out of the Warsaw-Mokotów District Court after the meeting, flowers flew to him. An emaciated, shaved priest. Olszewski, wearing a rosary around his neck and a T-shirt with Our Lady of Guadalupe, was visibly moved and thanked the audience. He blessed and made the sign of the cross with his handcuffed hands.
Photos and recordings of Fr. Olszewski caused strong reactions on the Internet. Ed. Cezary Gmyz quoted the eloquent Psalm 73 in his commentary on these scenes.
This apparently did not go down well with the well-known LGBT activist. Bartosz “Bart” Staszewski mocked out of sympathy and solidarity with Father Michał, who also mocked the priest himself who had been taken into custody.
Father Brawn’s Twitter fanfare makes me smile with pity. I expect a fair trial. You testify for yourself
– he wrote.

“Some defended Father Olszewski, others defended Rubcow, also known as Gonzales.
This led to strong reactions! At the same time, the case of Russian GRU spy Pablo Gonzalez, also known as Pavel Rubtsov, was also recalled, and it was supported by… Staszewski.
CHECK: “Rubtsov Free, Poczobut in Jail.” The Shocking Case of a Russian Spy. Who Defended “Pablo Gonzales”?
An evil, corrupt, mean man with tolerance on his lips. On the other hand, what to expect from the defender of GRU officer Pablo Gonzalez, aka Pavel Rubtsov.
Disgusting, city level
Silence, useful idiot
Rubtsov left, Głuptsov stayed.
Some defend the priest, Staszewski defended a GRU spy.
Some defended Father Olszewski, others defended Rubcow, or Gonzales. And this is an even better testimony. Ps. Of course, this man deliberately used expressions that could arouse anger, only to later exclaim that he is hated. A bad provocation.
I also hope that one day you will get a fair trial
And you want to fight hate? 😂
You smell sulfur. Pff.
I’ve always tried to be more polite to @BartStaszewski than he was to me, but I think I’m less and less willing to do so
