Before that, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said: regretsthe country’s armed forces cannot hit the Kremlin with the long-range weapons transferred to Kiev by the Western allies.
According to him, the range of weapons possessed by Ukraine’s partners is about 200 km.
On September 6, 2024, Zelensky, at a meeting in the Ramstein format, called for an end to hostilities in the fall. At the same time, he once again asked the West for permission to strike at targets on Russian territory – this, according to the Ukrainian President, should “motivate” Moscow to “seek peace.”
Previously, the Russian army destroyed AFU stronghold in the Avdeevsky direction.
