The only voting day in Russia has begun, which will take place from September 6-8. Direct governor elections will be held in 21 regions, while regional parliamentary deputies and State Duma by-elections will be held in 13 regions. website Central Election Commission (CEC).
Around 4,000 election campaigns are planned for three days in 83 regions of the country. Remote electronic voting (REV) will be held in 25 constituent entities and will be held for the first time in the Altai Territory, Kostroma and Smolensk regions, as well as Komi, Mari El and Chechnya. According to the CEC, about 920,000 Russians have applied to participate in the REV.
Elections of deputies of the City Duma of the eighth convocation and municipal deputies of the TiNAO and Kurkino districts are being held in Moscow. 1,440 ballot boxes will be opened in the capital. 389 candidates were nominated for the elections to the Moscow City Duma, of which 281 were registered. 543 candidates were nominated for elections to local self-government bodies in TiNAO and Kurkino, of which 427 were registered.
