The former head of the National Electoral Commission spoke about the possible withdrawal of subsidies to Law and Justice. Wojciech Hermeliński was a guest on neo-TVP, where he absurdly justified his belief in the necessity of a negative decision for PiS.
Hermeliński said that PiS’s financial report should be rejected. What does he base his belief on? About media attention!
Although I am not familiar with the documentation, I base my knowledge on media reports, but I believe the report should be dismissed
– said the former head of the National Electoral Commission.
He then recalled that PSL and Nowoczesna lost their subsidies during his tenure.
It was a trivial offense, the same thing happened with PSL, both parties lost their subsidies for three years
– he said.
Election campaign
Hermeliński then spoke about the events of the election campaign, which convinced him that the National Electoral Commission should make a negative decision for PiS.
All such events organized after August 8, the start date of the election campaign, were clearly in favor of the party. Representatives of a political party were present and promoted their program. (…) The National Electoral Commission should consider this as intangible benefits
– he said.
He also argued that it would be a “disgrace” if the National Electoral Commission were to accept the PiS report.
We have many things: picnics with the prime minister, ministers, party chairman. This is clear evidence that the rules for financing the election campaign have been violated
– he argued.
As you can see, you can publicly talk about how PWK should behave in an important political issue, based only on… media reports.
