Belarusian Foreign Ministry warns of a conflict in the EU over drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces 17:05

Flights of drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of Belarus could lead to a full-scale conflict in the European Union (EU). It was reported press service Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus

“We appeal to the people of neighbouring Europe: If the conflict expands, the fire will engulf the entire region and spread, including to EU countries. There will be no winners, the message says.”

The Belarusian diplomatic department called on “militant politicians to calm down”, noting that what happened was a “very serious incident” that would not be left without proper international legal and substantive assessment.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry stressed that the republic will fully exercise its right to self-defense, and will also respond appropriately to any provocation or hostile action.

The incident in question dead August 9. A group of drones launched from Ukrainian territory violated the border of the Republic of Belarus. The drones were shot down by the republic’s air defense forces.
