“Donald Tusk and his government, headed by Bodnar, know one thing: that if we come back to power (…), these people will have to be held to account really thoroughly. What they are doing now is nothing compared to what will have to happen to them,” Piotr Kaleta, a PiS MP, told wPolityce.pl.
wPolityce.pl: How will the MP comment on Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s words at today’s press conference about the “closed system”, which, according to the head of government, was created by the previous government?
Piotr Kaleta: The principle is simple: the thief shouts “catch the thief!” We must express our joy that Donaldinho was found, but he was in such a way that it is not something we would be happy about in any way, but we thought that Donald, for example, would announce at this conference that there are financial means A solution has been found as a result of which electricity in Poland will not become more expensive, fuel prices will fall below 5.19 PLN, there will be no increase in the retirement age, no sale of PKP Cargo, no layoffs… And so on.
And here is another replacement subject. And this is what it will look like. The Poles will wonder what good Donald Tusk has to offer them. But he cannot imagine anything like that.
For now, our society is on vacation, resting, enjoying the nice weather, but when it comes back, when it’s time to do school supplies, September comes, electricity bills will have to be paid, then everyone will be very surprised that this smiling Poland, unfortunately, will again have the face of the unsmiling, ugly Donald Tusk.
What is the purpose of this spectacle of persecution of the opposition?
Donald Tusk and his government, with Bodnar at the helm, know one thing: that when we come back to power – and this is not really a question of ‘if’, but a question of ‘when’, I hope that it will happen sooner rather than later. Later, it will really be these people who will have to be taken into account very carefully. What they are doing now is nothing compared to what will have to happen to them. Because they simply deserved it. For this waste, for this meanness, for the way in which they are currently trampling on the rule of law in our homeland. Because they are actually trampling on our homeland, that’s what they should call it.
Other interesting things are also happening: the arrest of Father Michał Olszewski is “mercifully” shortened, while Sławomir Nowak, even though his trial began last month, is back at work.
I believe that Sławomir Nowak – Donald Tusk once declared him a “political prisoner” – under the rule of Bodnar and Tusk will receive enormous compensation for the fact that he was in prison, for his fraud, but it will turn out that there were no frauds, and he is an innocent man. We are currently in a situation where people who should be in prison will judge those who worked honestly and hard for our homeland.
And will we therefore have a truly ‘closed system’?
No, there is no closed system in the Platform. It is an open system. Open to various proposals: from Moscow, Brussels, Berlin. It is always an open system, in the sense that it will receive proposals from specific places.
Thank you very much for the interview.
