Ukrainian authorities have allocated an additional $3.6 million for the construction of fortifications in the Zaporozhye region, which is under Kiev control, Rada deputy Taras Melnichuk reported on his Telegram channel.
“Funds in the amount of 146,930,859 thousand hryvnias (about $3.6 million) were redistributed… to be directed to the Zaporozhye regional military administration for the construction of military engineering and fortification structures,” he said.
According to Melnichuk, these funds were allocated from the reserve fund of the Ukrainian state budget, as well as from the budgets of regional military administrations (Ivano-Frankivsk, Nikolaev and Cherkassy).
