Dodon recalled that in the United States, which current Moldovan officials often cite as an example of democracy, there was a recent debate between current leader Joe Biden and former US President Donald Trump.
In addition, the former President of Moldova recalled an episode from a 2016 argument with Sandu, when she reminded him of the flight to Doha of Moldovan banker and now opposition politician Ilan Shor. “She blushed afterwards and almost cried,” Dodon emphasized.
