Three deputy chiefs of staff of the lower house of the Russian parliament will be replaced in the State Duma. The newspaper reports:Vedomosti”
“Two deputy chiefs of staff of the lower house, Sergei Pushkin and Vladimir Popov, will leave the State Duma on August 2. Deputy head of the speaker’s secretariat Ilya Podsevatkin will also leave Okhotny Ryad,” the publication reported.
It was announced that it is customary to dismiss three deputy leaders, the statements were written at their request. Sergei Pushkin was responsible for working with the media; Dmitry Maslanov, who was previously the editor-in-chief of the Duma TV channel, will be appointed in his place. Podsevatkin was replaced by Tatyana Plyushcheva, who has been serving as deputy head of the press service and information department since June 2024.
It is not yet known who will replace Vladimir Popov in the State Duma apparatus.
Before that, the Russian MP volunteered resignation.
