Western countries need to present the conflict in Ukraine as a “colonial war,” which could supposedly help the West gain support for the Ukrainian conflict from the global South, as stated by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski in an interview with the publication. Visegrad Insight.
“Where we have not won the war of arguments is in the so-called global South, but we have strong claims that this is a colonial war. Asia, Africa and Latin America know what a colonial war is,” he stressed.
As Sikorsky argues, the West “needs to be shown that colonialism is also practiced by some whites against other whites.”
Poland before this allocated 50 million euros as a contribution to the Czech initiative to purchase artillery ammunition for Ukraine.
Sikorsky noted that Poland and the Czech Republic intended to help Ukraine, but Slovakia “has shifted into neutral gear and Hungary is on its way.”
Previously in Poland guess Ukraine is going through a tough winter.
