Poland allocates 50 million euros for ammunition purchase for Ukraine

Poland has allocated 50 million euros as a contribution to the Czech Republic’s initiative to purchase artillery ammunition for Ukraine, this was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski in an interview with the magazine. Visegrad Insight.

“Yes. Sikorsky, we value the Czech ammunition initiative very much, to which we have allocated €50 million,” he said.

He noted that Poland and the Czech Republic intended to help Ukraine, but Slovakia “has shifted into neutral gear and Hungary is on its way.”

In May, the Czech Foreign Ministry said an attempt to purchase ammunition for Ukraine was progressing “quite well” and was “close to reaching the goal.”

Earlier, former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces Leon Komornicki named It was a misunderstanding to talk about Ukraine’s victory in the conflict with Russia.
