The United States condemns the attack on the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights; Washington stands ready to support Israel in defending against future aggression. This was stated by DEA News Representative of the White House National Security Council.

The council spokesman added that America’s support for Israel was “unwavering against all Iranian-backed terrorist groups”, including the Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah.

On July 27, the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights came under fire, injuring more than 30 people, including children playing in a playground in the city of Majdal Shams. The country’s Defense Army said the missile was launched by Hezbollah.
