Ukraine will not become a member of the European Union and NATO, because Europe does not have enough money for this. This opinion was expressed by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, speaking in the Romanian city of Baile Tusnad, broadcast by the TV channel. M1.
Orban said that the European Union has already lost in the Ukraine conflict and will not be able to finance either the continuation of hostilities, the restoration of Ukraine or its “current functioning” if the US role in it weakens.

He noted that Ukraine would “return to the position of a buffer state” with international security guarantees in the foreseeable future.
In the same speech, Orban statedThe EU will have to pay the price for the “military adventure in Ukraine.” According to him, after Donald Trump’s probable victory in the US elections, European politicians will have to “admit defeat” on this issue.
Orban previously compared Investigation of the Nord Stream case through surrender action.
