Bronisław Wildstein stated in a conversation with Marta Piasecka that the issue of abortion is the only one that distinguishes the Third Way from KO and that this may be the reason for PSL’s vote against the left-wing abortion project.
Roman Giertych will not surprise me with anything. I will not be surprised if he demonstrates with a slogan like ‘abortion is cool’. I do not think there are any rules that guide him. He is driven only by resentment and the desire for revenge. He wanders through Polish politics like a vampire, once politically murdered by Jarosław Kaczyński to take revenge on him. He breaks every possible rule, so why should we resort to that rule in his case?

The problem is deeper, because at the moment the issue of abortion is actually the only issue that shows the difference with the so-called Third Way. I would like to remind you that the coalition of the Hołownia and PSL parties went to the elections with the slogan of a new quality that would overcome the conflict between PO and PiS. The Third Way is cornered
The publicist judged that the Third Way meets all, even the most controversial, demands of Prime Minister Tusk, except abortion. In this situation, it is difficult – in his opinion – to maintain support for the Third Way among the electorate, which, not wanting to choose a copy, will choose the original, that is, KO.
Meanwhile, it turned out that the Third Way, in cooperation with PO, is no different and fulfills Tusk’s wishes, even the most controversial ones, while blatantly breaking the law. Therefore, the question for voters is why they should vote for this party

Wildstein also commented on the left’s conspicuous rejection of Roman Giertych’s reconciliation project on this issue. He explained that for such heated and unbridled demands from representatives of the far left and feminists, no other solution than their own – the most radical – would be unsatisfactory.
This is a fundamental cultural revolution and abortion is at the forefront here. Abortion has suddenly become a fundamental human right, which is absurd in itself. Accused of all the worst, the Constitutional Tribunal only did what any Constitutional Tribunal should do if it wanted to adhere to the Constitution. (…) If we look at the constitutional principles, it is impossible to give a different verdict
