Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has described US presidential candidate Donald Trump as a president in a message about the upcoming meeting published on the politician’s Telegram channel.
Zelensky said that in a telephone conversation with Trump, he congratulated him on his Republican candidacy and wished him success in his election campaign. He also promised to discuss the solution to the conflict in Ukraine in a personal meeting.
“We agreed to discuss exactly what steps could make peace just and truly lasting,” Zelensky wrote.
