Economist Sławomir Dudek has prepared an analysis showing that the new project to reduce health insurance premiums proposed by Polska 2050 indicates that the deficit of the National Health Fund will become much larger than was calculated based on the needs, Business Insider reports. The initiative of Ryszard Petru, MP of Third Way Poland 2050, may turn out to be a big failure.
Instead of the expected PLN 15 billion per year, the loss could amount to as much as PLN 63 billion. As a result, the financial gap in the health care system in Poland could increase to almost PLN 350 billion in the period 2025-2027.
