Magdalena Sroka, chair of the Pegasus Investigative Committee, opened the meeting, at which the former Minister of Justice did not appear. “Zbigniew Ziobro sent a medical certificate issued by a forensic expert, which means that he effectively justified his absence from today’s committee meeting,” Sroka said. At the same time, she announced the politician’s summons for July 10.

Zbigniew Ziobro, summoned as a witness before the Pegasus investigation committee, is battling cancer and therefore cannot appear at the hearing. Nevertheless, the chair of the committee, a Third Way MP, Magdalena Sroka, summoned the former minister.
Zbigniew Ziobro sent a medical certificate issued by a court expert, effectively justifying his absence from today’s committee meeting. However, I would like to deny the words of politicians who have so far accused us of harassing Minister Ziobro
– said the politician, opening the meeting.
Well, there are no equals anymore, the regulations are clear and transparent for everyone and the fact that the Minister sends an appropriate medical certificate proves that he has received the information that we passed on in the media – that there is only one way to get your absence.
– she said.
According to her, the summons was sent on June 12: by post, courier and email. The courier package was returned on June 14 with the message that the recipient did not live at this address.
We have tried to contact you by telephone. The minister also did not answer the phone
– Magpie pointed out.
Called again
As she further explained, the prosecution was asked to deliver the summons by the police when the attempt to deliver the summons by the parliamentary club also failed.
You yourself took advantage of the illness of the minister, the head of your party, to start a quarrel. And it was enough to present such a certificate
– she said.
At the same time, she announced that the next hearing was scheduled for July 10.
Given the illness, I wish the Minister a speedy recovery, but there are no equals. Should this not be possible10, we will submit a request to the experts to set the earliest possible date for the hearing with the Minister.
– she added.
