Today, many Civic Coalition politicians in the Sejm fought for the upper hand in terms of the stupidest statement about the Central Communications Gate. The competition was obviously outclassed by the minister liquidator of CPK – Maciej Lasek, but let’s also say a few words about other competitors.
Krystyna Sibińska called CPK an “ideological and political” project. Krzysztof Gawkowski told PiS MPs on the issue: “Today you have to apologize to the Poles for quarreling with them.” Piotr Głowski called Tusk’s concept of railway renovation “truly empathetic.” Karolina Pawliczak said that building CPK meant “fear, anxiety and uncertainty for tomorrow.” Anna Sobolak said that Tusk’s project makes her “extremely happy and optimistic.” Urszula Koszutska almost sang “Łubudubu” and commented on the prime minister’s words:
I welcomed these words because they prove that Donald Tusk will not allow any harm related to expropriation.
Krzysztof Habura formulated a text as if it came from the archives of the State Commission for Economic Planning of the Polish People’s Republic:
In recent months, the CPK has conducted a multi-level verification of the port construction project and as a result, the government has presented a more realistic and optimized construction plan, in contrast to the Byzantine nature of the project presented by the United Right government.
Minister Lasek spoke twice: at the beginning and at the end of the parliamentary debate. He said that thanks to his “100 minutes Poland” project, Poland would be “a fifteen-minute city”, while CPK would be used for Poles to fly to Australia. “How many Poles want to fly to Australia?” – the minister asked triumphantly, as if he had unmasked the murderer in the presence of Lieutenant Colombo. “We cannot create a major infrastructure project in a situation where we want to return to centralism,” he argued.
The most interesting thing, however, was when he referred to the possible transfer of the air hub project from Poland to Hungary.
It was mentioned here that Vinci wants to build a hub in Budapest. Good luck!
– Lasek said very nicely to the Hungarians and then suggested that this would be to the advantage of the Russians because of Orban’s political views. Lasek seems to have gone a little crazy, because if the hub in Hungary will be useful for Putin, maybe it would be better to build it in Poland?
Or maybe he did not make a loop, but only wanted to outdo the competition in the battle for the title of author of the stupidest statement in the debate on CPK?
