“All those handling the case of Father Michał Olszewski are prosecutors demoted by Zbigniew Ziobro, and therefore under the Code of Criminal Procedure they are obliged to recuse themselves,” Patryk Jaki explains, providing further shocking details about this case.

For whom was the Archipelago an eyesore?
Patryk Jaki explains that the aid center project, due to its size and vision, which had a chance of success, was censored from the beginning, also because the author was a priest.
The most popular joke made about the priest was that he allegedly performed exorcisms with muscle power. The media repeated this one after another to humiliate the priest. However, it was a lie
– explains the politician, explaining that it is an anecdote that Father Olszewski quoted in one of his books. He also corrects another accusation that has surfaced in the public space.
A recording studio center in the project, and it’s funny what this center is for. Meanwhile, the priest explained, emphasizing that it was a place for theater therapy, music therapy and art therapy. These types of ways to help people after major trauma are very popular all over the world. Meanwhile, when submitting documentation to Wilanów authorities, the architects could not write down “music therapy room”, so they wrote down “Studio 1”, “Studio 2”.

“Tusk and Bodnar immediately stopped the project.
“When Tusk and Bodnar came to power, they immediately stopped the project and attacked the priest,” says Patryk Jaki, comparing the methods of detaining the priest to communist methods.
Immediately a neo-TVP journalist reported that he was being held together with a woman. Of course, all this later turned out to be untrue, and the detainee had no way to defend himself. The communists made the same insinuations against Karol Wojtyła and other priests. They wanted to discredit them with alleged contacts with women
– explains Jaki, adding that this is not the end of shocking actions in this matter:
Immediately after the arrest, his lawyer was not allowed to see the priest, which in itself is a violation of the law and in any serious country would result in the dismissal of the leadership of the prosecutor’s office. (…) Moreover, as the priest’s lawyer noted, when he entered the room, he did not have access to the materials that were about to deprive the priest of his freedom, which was also a violation of all possible rules.
– explains the former Deputy Minister of Justice, adding that at the same time the officials who provided the subsidy for the project were detained.
They were all charged with exceeding powers under 296 Criminal Code, and causing significant property damage.
– says Patryk Jaki and answers the question “what is it actually about?”
The point is that the foundation of Fr. Olszewski should not have received a grant because, according to Bodnar’s supporters, it did not meet the formal criteria, i.e. it did not provide in its statutes for – and I quote – “assistance to victims of crime”. Meanwhile, the competition announcement is visible to everyone because it is public. states: “procurement companies cannot be entities whose statutes ONLY define features of their activities that do not cover the subject matter of the competition.”
– says the politician, adding that Father Michał’s foundation met these requirements, because one of them was support in education, which is included in the statute of the organization.
In addition, the priest’s statute included helping victims of disasters, such as road accidents on land, that is, car accidents, which are often the result of a crime. And the Bondarists say no. According to such a neo-prosecutor genius, it’s not a crime, even though another prosecutor is probably investigating a case of death from, say, speeding, just a few doors down. Well, just geniuses.
Who is investigating Father Michał’s case?
The Bodnarists knew they had weak equipment and the case was handed over to a former deputy minister in Tusk’s government. And despite calls and an open letter from many famous people in Poland, he did not exclude himself from the case and sent the priest and the officials behind bars with a smile on his face.
– emphasizes Patryk Jaki. As he notes, they have all been behind bars for three months, and in the meantime further charges have been filed against the priest. Other charges have also been filed against one of the officials.
They accused her that one of the foundations had given her the wrong bank account number and she didn’t notice and she was jailed for six months.
– says Jaki and explains further:
If you think the judge has already ridiculed Bodnar’s supporters and kicked them out of the courtroom, then Bodnar, knowing that he had such weak evidence, illegally suspended the leadership of this court, entirely by accident, on the day the judge was appointed for this case. Naturally, as part of the fight against the influence of politicians on the courts. He suspended the board on charges of signing letters to the National Council for the Judiciary from judges when we were in power. That was in accordance with the law that is still in force today.
– informed the MEP and added that the matter had been submitted to a judge, who had also signed one of such lists, and that the suggestion for her was therefore clear:
Look, Bodnar is harassing other judges who sign letters, so think carefully. You have an important case about our political competitors. (…) This judge obviously rejects subsequent arrests, although she at least emphasizes that there are contradictions in the evidence of the Bodnar supporters, but she does not assess whether they are guilty or innocent, only the grounds for arrest, a potentially high fine and the fear of fraud
— reports on the actions taken so far in the priest’s case. He also stressed that while the priest is in custody, the Public Prosecution Service did not apply the same measure to those accused of being Russian agents, allowing them to escape.
