A surprising situation arose during today’s Sejm session. At one point, Marek Sawicki, a clearly excited PSL senior marshal, emerged from the parliamentary podium and called on the government to take action to allow the installation of small agricultural biogas plants. He accused the government of allowing the case to continue.
I’m sorry to say that you understand absolutely nothing when it comes to small agricultural biogas plants. Today they don’t need teams or new laws, just decisions. Allocating part of the KPO for financial support and from tomorrow it will be possible to install small agricultural biogas plants up to half a mega-mega
– he said from the parliamentary podium Marek Sawicki.
You will create teams and work, and at the moment Shell, Total and Saudi Aramco have already bought more than 50 percent in Poland. biosubstrate for the production of biomethane and in the blink of an eye the foreign competition on the Polish biosubstrate will develop its national objectives, and in five years Orlen will be bankrupt because, apart from one project, there is not a single agricultural biogas plant that allows this to produce biomethane to meet the national indicator target
– continued the PSL MP.
Stop creating useless teams and laws. Finally, get started and start investing
– the senior marshal concluded his speech. After this statement, the deputy chairman of the Sejm, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, decided to take steps towards his coalition colleague.
Czarzasty’s response
Thank you very much, sir. Dear Marek, I wouldn’t be myself if I didn’t remind you in a very friendly way that the head of this ministry is Czesław Siekierski and I think you can also ask him at your club about his policy on this matter
– the co-chairman of the New Left asked Sawicki.
At that moment, Sawicki wanted to return to the Sejm stand to answer Tsarzasty, but the deputy chairman of the Sejm did not want to give Sawicki the floor.
You don’t have to correct anything, because Siekierski is the minister in this matter
– said Czarzasty, but Sawicki still appeared on the Sejm stage and said:
I have been talking to all ministers about this issue for at least six months.
As you can see, Marek Sawicki could not tolerate the government’s impotence on an issue so important to him that he decided to attract the attention of the decision-makers from the parliamentary gallery. The case he described is similar to the case of the CPK project; this project is also stalling due to pointless formal government actions and audit attempts, which only delay the real work.
