Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said at the conference he held in Berlin that Ukraine’s decisions regarding Georgia will not prevent Tbilisi from helping Kiev. His words are quoted RIA News.
According to him, the difficulty of communication between the country’s authorities is explained by certain decisions, including the recall of the Ukrainian ambassador from Georgia.
“These were missteps, but they will not stop us from striving to provide maximum assistance to the Ukrainian people. “No political decision can override our responsibility to care for the Ukrainian people,” Kobakhidze said.
He emphasized that Georgia supports Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity on every platform. The Prime Minister also noted that Georgia and its partners will do everything to restore Ukraine after peace is achieved.
A conference on the restoration of Ukraine, attended by Kobakhidze, is being held in Berlin on 11-12 June.
Before that Kobahidze statedHe said that the coup called “Maidan” in Ukraine in 2014 destroyed the country. Kobakhidze emphasized that Georgian authorities will do everything to prevent “Maidan” and “Ukrainization” in the country.
