Daniel Obajtek will no longer be summoned to a hearing before the Commission of Inquiry into the so-called visa scandal. This was announced by the chairman, Michał Szczerba. The former president of Orlen strongly commented on the decision of the PO politician who was elected Member of the European Parliament.
According to “Rzeczpospolita”, the commission is already at the stage of preparing final conclusions, so it is impossible to hear any more witnesses. This was confirmed by Szczerba himself.
Szczerba, chairman of the Sejm committee on the visa scandal, also said that although the committee failed to interview Daniel Obajtek (former president of PKN Orlen, currently also a member of the European Parliament), who did not respond to the call, the phase of work related to the hearings had ended.

Obajtek comments
Daniel Obajtek commented on Szczerba’s words. The future MEP, elected from the PiS list, argues that Szczerba’s actions against him were a “circus financed with taxpayers’ money.”
Mr. Szczerba, you just admitted that you and the entire KO were creating a circus with taxpayers’ money just for political purposes and your campaign because you had nothing else to offer the voters. Shame
