Marek Balt commented bluntly in Telewizja wPolska on the left’s election results and his chances of playing a more important role on the Polish political scene in the future. “Anyone who has a different opinion than President Czarzasta or Biedroń will be expelled or suspended from the left,” he said.
The ninth-term MEP of the European Parliament stated in a conversation with Żaklina Skowrońska and Bartosz Łyżwiński that post-election reflections will not have any influence on the Polish left, because in this environment the leaders rule with an iron fist and cut off all discussions.
There will be no reflections, no well-thought-out changes within the left, because there is no internal or programmatic discussion within the left today. Anyone who has a different opinion than President Czarzasta or Biedroń will be expelled or suspended from the left
– said MEP Balt.

According to him, the left has no future in Poland, and the 2025 elections will be the best proof of this.
Unfortunately, in my opinion, this decline of the Polish left is inevitable and will continue. The next presidential elections will clearly show this, because the presidential candidate will win even less than the previous candidates
– he predicted.
