Left MP Adrian Zandberg, in a burst of honesty in neo-TVP, said that if his party fails to demonstrate its differences with its coalition partners, it will be “eaten” by larger entities. He also stated that the left should leave the coalition if its key demands are not implemented.
The co-chair of the Left Razem party noted his party’s poor showing in the European Parliament elections, which could most likely be caused by the flow of his electorate to the Civic Coalition.
If the left cannot clearly show the difference to its voters, if it cannot give hope to its voters in a clear way, it will simply fade away, eaten up by larger entities on the Polish political scene.
He also emphasized that he believes that the left should leave Donald Tusk’s governing coalition if key program demands are not met.
I believe there is time for a much tougher stance when it comes to the program demands that are critical to the left. I believe that in the future we cannot agree on the anti-social and anti-social positions of the Ministry of Finance. (…) If the main program requirements for links are not implemented, I think so.
Perhaps this is the left’s last chance to escape the political vice that Donald Tusk has thrust it into.
