“All procedures have been prepared so that our officers can act as decisively as possible and appropriate to the situation,” Mariusz Kamiński said on television in Poland, commenting on the attack on the Polish border.
The PiS candidate in the European Parliament elections responded to the words of politicians from the ruling team who claim that the situation at the border has changed.
The situation has not changed at all. We all remember the most “spectacular” actions, which were actually carried out by the Belarusian services and Russian secret services, using illegal migrants. I am talking about November 2021, that is, the storming of the Kuźnica border crossing, where several thousand young, athletic migrants brutally attacked, throwing stones and sticks and using slingshots. Over the course of several years, as we successfully defended our border, we had several wounded officers
– he said.
They pretend not to have seen it then, only a small theater in the shape of the first group of Afghans who reached Usnarz, where there was a little girl with a kitten, who supposedly came from Afghanistan with the kitten. This was the theater of the Belarusian side, which was so eagerly picked up by the then opposition
– added Kamiński.
The response of the officers
Kamiński then spoke about the possible reactions of soldiers and officers guarding the Polish border.
All procedures have been drawn up so that our officers can act as decisively and appropriately as possible to the situation. They are equipped with long weapons. Patrols are no longer conducted without long weapons and live ammunition. They have tear gas and equipment appropriate to the situation. Of course, every officer and soldier knows that in a situation where his life is threatened, he can and must use weapons
– he said.
He also referred to the changes being prepared by the European Commission.
I talk about it at all meetings to inform the public that the process of building one centralized European state has already begun. The EP has adopted a resolution containing 267 amendments to the Treaties. In fact, this means that in many strategic areas of state functioning, the powers of the national states will be transferred to Brussels. This is the first step towards changing the treaties
– said Mariusz Kamiński.
