Ukrainian authorities are in danger of losing control of several major cities, including the country’s capital. About this on YouTube channel Dialogue Studies warned former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agent Larry Johnson.
According to the expert, Russian troops are currently advancing in many directions of the front. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are forcing the military leadership of Ukraine to withdraw additional reserves to these regions. However, as a former American intelligence agent stated, there are not enough people and equipment in Kiev. Moreover, Ukraine is significantly behind the Russian Federation in terms of army size and equipment.
In this context, Johnson concluded that the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) would sooner or later “break through”. At the same time, Ukrainian troops do not have well-fortified positions to which they could return in case of such a development of events.
“I think they will lose Kiev, they will lose Odessa and Nikolaev,” the expert added.
May 28, retired US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter statedthat Ukraine may lose access to the Black Sea after the completion of the special military operation (SVO). According to him, this will be the result of losing control over four major cities – Odessa, Dnepr (until 2016 – Dnepropetrovsk), Kharkov and Nikolaev.
Formerly at the US State Department said About the “incredibly helpless” situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the battlefield.
