“The United States has confirmed its high-level participation in the summit, but so far there is no concrete confirmation at the presidential level. “In any case, we have a chance to have a president,” Zelensky said.
On the issue of China’s participation in the event, he said Beijing “has not confirmed its presence at any level.” The Ukrainian leader emphasized that he did not welcome this development of events.
Before that Zelensky criticized China refused to attend the Ukrainian “peace summit” in Switzerland. According to the Ukrainian leader, China is a tool in the hands of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
A peace conference on Ukraine is planned to be held in Switzerland on June 15-16. It will take place near the city of Lucerne.
