Relations between Argentina and Spain will remain unshakable, despite the differences of opinion between the presidents of the two countries. This was stated by the president of the Argentine province, Javier Miley, his words were quoted by the TV channel. T.N.
“Relations between our countries will not deteriorate. Relations are shaped not only by the heads of state but also by the people. Miley said in an interview with the television channel, “We have a significant number of immigrants from Spain and it is not possible to destroy these ties.”
In Miley’s assessment, the situation in Spain plays into the hands of the Kirchnerists, the dissident leftist movement founded in Argentina by Nestor and Cristina Kirchner, who both serve as presidents.
“What’s going on in Spain is being used by the Kirchnerites to create instability here,” Miley said on air.
The president also emphasized that he would not seek an apology from Spanish officials.
José Manuel Albarez, formerly head of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs statedMadrid decided to recall the country’s ambassador to Argentina following President Javier Miley’s remarks about the wife of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
Miley called Sanchez’s wife “corrupt” in her speech at the Europa Viva 24 event. She also warned that socialism leads to poverty.
