“I expect greater efficiency and effectiveness from our government because we agree with the voters not for the next twenty years, but for four years,” said Marek Sawicki, senior marshal of PSL. He also severely assessed the Warsaw mayor’s regulations regarding religious symbols. “I am ashamed of this decision. “Things will not end well for those who fight with the cross,” he emphasized.
The politician of the Polish People’s Party has been bashing Donald Tusk for some time in his statements. Firstly, with regard to the migration pact.

However, it was probably the first time that PO decided to criticize the actions of the current government and politicians so broadly.
About investigative committees
In Wirtualna Polska’s “Tłit” program he sharply reviewed, among other things: work of parliamentary investigative committees.
If Minister Bodnar were to reform the courts and Siemoniak were to reform the services, the commissions would not be necessary
– said Sawicki.
He also admitted that he did not rate the committee’s work “too highly” due to its low effectiveness.
About the war against crosses
PSL politicians also distance themselves from the decision of Rafał Trzaskowski, who with his scheme started a war against crosses in offices in Warsaw. First the decision of the President of Warsaw was criticized by Piotr Zgorzelski, now it was done in a much harsher tone by Sawicki.

I am ashamed of this decision. Whoever fights with the cross does not end well. He started this war completely unnecessarily
– Sawicki emphasized in the “Tłit” program.
Interestingly enough, according to the senior marshal, Trzaskowski did this because he knows that Donald Tusk, and not him, will be the PO candidate in the presidential election.
On judicial reforms
Sawicki also criticized the pace of the government’s work, especially when it comes to judicial reforms. He strongly assessed the comments of some PO politicians who did not like the Senate amendments to the draft law on the National Council of the Judiciary. They had to comply with President Andrzej Duda’s demands.

They don’t like it because it doesn’t fit into the concept of conflict
– noted the PSL MP.
Let the hawks of the Platform quench their appetite. Regardless of how we judge the president, he was elected in a general election and his vote should be taken into account
– added the politician.
He also emphasized that he expects “greater efficiency and effectiveness from our government, because we agreed with the voters not for the next twenty years, but for four years.”
If we do not show freedom of choice and different management, in four years we will not get a yellow card, but a red card
– said Sawicki.
