“For us, as Poland, our task is to elect members of the European Parliament on June 9 who will lead to the termination of the migration pact and its at least very profound amendment,” said Michał Dworczyk, a lawmaker and Justice, on Telewizja Polska. “He is unacceptable in this form,” he stressed.
The EU Council (the finance ministers of the EU countries) ultimately approved the migration pact. Three countries voted against: Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. One of the solutions within the framework of the pact is the mechanism of “mandatory solidarity”, or de facto forced relocation! Interestingly enough, Donald Tusk noted at the press conference after the government meeting that the adopted migration pact would be beneficial for our country.

Michał Dworczyk commented on the approval of the migration pact and the statement of the head of government on Telewizja Polska.
I do not undertake to undertake an exegesis of this statement (Donald Tuska – ed.). But as I understand it, the message is simple: we will make money from this, and there will be no migrants in Poland, I will take care of it. And this last sentence in Prime Minister Tusk’s statement is crucial: he will arrange it, he will guarantee it. In recent years we have had so many conflicting statements, so many changes made by Donald Tusk, that Donald Tusk cannot be absolutely credible on this issue.
– said the MP for Law and Justice.
Donald Tusk has no problem changing his mind, as if he hoped that the Poles had absolutely no memory of what happened a few months, a year or two years ago. Fortunately, most Poles know it, and I don’t think most Poles will fall for it
– said the politician.
As he noted, “the real problem is that in two years’ time – because accession to the Migration Pact has been postponed for so long – we will either have to accept uninvited newcomers here or incur very serious costs.”
This is a quite dramatic situation, because then no one will ask Poland. There are certain legal frameworks and we will respect them or bear the costs. (…) For us, as Poland, our task is to elect Members of the European Parliament on June 9 who will lead to the termination of the Migration Pact, or at least to a very profound change to it, because the EU is a kind of should have a policy towards migrants, that is clear. But in this form it is unacceptable
– Dworczyk emphasized.
