“During eight years of our rule, we took Poland out of the Third World sphere and into the sphere of civilized countries,” PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński said today at a meeting with the residents of Siedlce (Mazovia). He added that the current coalition government is a fraud.
According to the PiS president, the Civic Coalition’s election campaign, after which Donald Tusk came to power, was ‘one big fraud’.
Jarosław Kaczyński stated that the most striking and shocking “is the atmosphere of fraud associated with the daily fate of Poland”.
During these eight years of our rule, you can say: these are not my words, I am quoting someone here, we have taken Poland out of the atmosphere of the third world – because where there are hungry children, there is a third world – to remove the atmosphere of civilized countries
– said Kaczynski.
He noted that this was achieved, among other things, despite the announcements about the lack of money from political opponents of PiS.
Referring to 100 specific tasks during 100 days of the Civic Coalition’s rule, the PiS president said 9 have been completed so far.
In short, we are dealing with a situation that essentially amounts to a major deception
– he emphasized.
Tusk’s unfulfilled promises
During a meeting with the residents of Siedlce, the PiS president raised the issue of the construction of the Central Communications Gate.
What matters is that we have efficient rail connections, allowing us to travel across the country and eliminating the exclusion of transport. The idea was that 80 percent of the profits from freight transport – that is, by aircraft, not by passengers but by goods – were in Poland. It is also about making Poland more attractive than it is, and it is already attractive today – at least it was during our regime for foreign investors. This has all been called into question
– he said.
Jarosław Kaczyński stated that Donald Tusk’s government has not kept its promises and can only attack strategic infrastructure investments.
Can Poland develop further given the demands currently being made in Europe, without nuclear, cheap and clean energy? (…) This is something extremely important, which we have also undertaken, and which must not happen
– he pointed out.
Will it be bad for Poland if the Oder becomes a navigable river again? We really need this, and it shouldn’t be there because the Germans don’t like it
– added.
National ambitions
The PiS president noted that Donald Tusk’s government does not meet the ambitions of Polish society, the best example of which is the suspension of CPK investments.
Projects related to our future, but today increasingly also to Poland’s ambitions, were affected. There is a movement to defend the CPK, people want it and understand that this is the future of Poland!
– he said.
According to the PiS president, Poland needs a major port in Świnoujście.
We already compete with Hamburg and the ports around St. Petersburg, and we can compete even better and more effectively. And don’t forget that the state budget already receives more than PLN 40 billion from the port every year. This is really profitable for Poland, but it won’t be
– said Kaczynski
This is just the beginning of the journey. We have an introduction to the Green Deal ahead of us and then we just get a slap on the head. We are faced with a real increase in energy prices of several tens of percent, which will have consequences for the economy. A very negative process has started, of which the abolition of VAT on food is a symptom
– he added.
Reactivation of poverty
During a meeting with the residents of Siedlce, the President of Law and Justice emphasized that when the United Right was in power, there were energy and anti-inflation shields that “largely protected the economy, and therefore also society and employment, but also directly people.”
He also talked about salary increases, which – as he noted – were only two months lower than inflation.
Wages rose faster than inflation. Of course (…) it was not entirely symmetrical, it was not that we could say that no one was losing, because the increases were different in different groups and at different times, but in general the trend was
– Kaczyński noted.
He added that inflation was suppressed at the time it needed to be suppressed, as announced by the President of the National Bank of Poland, Adam Glapiński.
Meanwhile, these shields no longer exist, as Kaczyński emphasized, and this causes an increase in the prices of energy, water, sewage and fuel, which will result in a decrease in production, layoffs and an increase in the cost of living. He also pointed out the current situation of public finances.
These governments simply promise us poverty. Poverty consists at least in the fact that Polish living standards will not rise but will fall, and that the Polish economy will adapt to the European Union with very little or no growth at all. So this process of hunting, this process that was supposed to satisfy the justified Polish ambition to live at the level of Western Europe, this process will be stopped unless we return to power, this is the only possibility
– said Kaczyński.
State security
The opposition leader asked the audience what kind of Poland they wanted – a country with serious investments in the armed forces and security, or a country torn by impossibilism, which he sees as the main expression of recent years in the PO environment .
What should Poland look like? A country subordinate to Germany and Russia, or should it be an independent country on the level of other major European countries with a strong army? What kind of Poland do you want? The first or the second?
– asked Kaczyński.
We must be militarily strong to defend our borders. Tusk now claims that what is happening on the eastern border is a hybrid war, when he once said something completely different. (…) Now those in power know that they also have to defend themselves, because the social reaction to the fact that Poland will be flooded with people pushed here by Putin with the help of Lukashenko will be a very bad reaction
– noted the PiS president.
Jarosław Kaczyński also believed that Prime Minister Donald Tusk cannot be counted on in the field of state security, which is evident from the underfunding of the Armed Forces Support Fund.
Donald Tusk does not guarantee the security of Poland!
– he noted.
The current Prime Minister today claims that there are no limits when it comes to the financing of the armed forces. But the financial white paper says the Armed Forces Support Fund does not have secured funding. Remember, when they rule, there is always no money. So the safety element also goes against them. I call on the nation to wake up!
– added.
President Kaczyński believed that during the United Right rule, the threat from the east was noticed and responded vigilantly.
We were afraid that they would want to occupy the so-called bubbles, areas of several hectares, which would cause destabilization
– he noted, explaining the decision to send armored divisions to the east.
He also referred to the fact that the 18th mechanized division is based in Siedlce, which is supposed to defend the northern part of the eastern border on the route with Belarus, and that it was created during the PiS government.
It was not the result of gigantomania, it was the result of the border guard’s response to what to do so that Poland could defend itself on the eastern border, and not on the Vistula.
– he said.
The Russians know they have to attack where the situation is weak. If we are strong, the chance of an attack is smaller
– he said.
A strong team for the EP
Before the European Parliament elections in June, Jarosław Kaczyński called for the unity of the PiS community and other groups of the United Right, noting that it is first of all necessary to oppose the “Goebbelsian propaganda” that attributes all kinds of scandals to PiS.
We must fight together! We have to go together as a white and red team, please remember that! Today there is a lot of resistance here due to the fact that this disgusting Goebbelsian propaganda, accusing our formation of various sins, turned out to be effective in many cases.
– he said.
Am I saying we are angels? I do not say it. That there were no sins? There were sins. But what they say, compared to what actually happened, is like Mount Everest on a hill here
– noted the president of PiS.
According to him, the creation of a scandal spiral around PiS is a lie and has no basis in reality, which is best demonstrated by the poor results of the work of parliamentary investigative committees.
These ‘major scandals’ that are being investigated by these investigative committees turn out to be one big fraud. For example, when it comes to the Pegasus case, if anything was not enough in this case, it was the control, because today we have Judge Szmydt who should have been caught, but he wasn’t. Unfortunately, some people believe in these fairy tales, such as the story that creating Orlen into a big company that had a great chance of dominating Central Europe was a big crime.
– said Kaczynski.
He also called on all PiS supporters and voters to mobilize before the European Parliament elections.
From this place I appeal to our allies and friends with whom we walked not to believe in these deceptive fairy tales. It is very important that we are united in the upcoming European elections!
– he spoke.
This will not be a normal term of office for the European Parliament, it will be a term in which decisions will be taken that will take away almost everything from Poles: sovereignty, currency, decisions on border defense. (…) You need experienced people in the European Parliament who know how to work there, who are energetic and sometimes even ruthless. There are two such gentlemen sitting before me: Bielany and Kurski
– noted the opposition leader.
