Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree “On the structure of federal executive bodies”. The document was published on: Web site Kremlin.
According to the decree, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation will have 10 deputies, one of whom will be the first. The deputies will include the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation to the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD) and the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation. Government of the Russian Federation – Chief of the General Staff of the Government of the Russian Federation.
The decree enters into force on the day it is officially published.
On May 10, Putin approved Mikhail Mishustin as head of the Russian government. The majority of State Duma deputies, except the Communist Party group, supported this decision. Its members believe that the work of the Cabinet needs to be adjusted.
In his speech at the State Duma, Mishustin said that the main task of the Cabinet in the next six years will be the President’s message to the Federal Assembly. According to the future prime minister, he plans to work to strengthen the economy, achieve technological sovereignty, ensure digital transformation, save people and support families with children, improve the well-being of citizens, balanced development of regions and infrastructure.
