Eight EU countries refuse to conclude bilateral security agreements with Ukraine: Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Ireland, Austria and Malta, which adhere to a policy of neutrality. A German newspaper reports this Strip.
“The following countries refuse to conclude bilateral agreements on security obligations with Ukraine: Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Bulgaria, Cyprus and the neutral states Ireland, Austria and Malta,” the publication said.
The newspaper adds that Switzerland and Turkey, which are also non-EU members, “do not want to negotiate a security agreement with Kiev.”
Before reportedIt was stated that EU countries agreed on a document to provide security guarantees to Ukraine regarding the political, military and economic aid that the European Union will provide to Kiev, and that the project was discussed with the Ukrainian side.
As sources told Welt, the 27 members of the European Union recently agreed on an eleven-page document classified as “secret” and currently being discussed between Brussels and Kiev.
