Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Schemien said in an interview: ATVsBudapest will not extradite Ukrainian citizens of military age who are on Hungarian territory to Kiev.
He noted that Hungary cannot allow these citizens to go to the front, where an inevitable fate awaits them. Shemien also added that Hungarian authorities will not find out whether some Ukrainians who moved to Hungary are liable for military service. He emphasized that this was determined by “basic humanity” considerations.
