During the heated discussion about Marcin Kierwiński’s speech on May 4, an interesting perspective was born that touches on… the serious debate about the Central Communications Gate. Someone will say: what does gingerbread have to do with a windmill? Nothing could be further from the truth. PiS MP Paweł Jabłoński recalled certain issues that prove how absurd the criticism of the CPK is.
This is how much Kierwiński earned in Modlin
While the speech of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration on May 4 is still loud, PiS MP Paweł Jabłoński decided to recall Paweł Zariczny’s March entry on the X platform, in which the merits of Marcin Kierwiński as former vice president of Modlin Airport.
In less than three years he could earn approximately PLN 820,000. The current PO MP from Modlin resigned in May 2010
— we read in the archive text of ‘Super Express’ from 2013. Zariczny emphasized in his entry that these were revenues before the airport opened!
Absurd criticism of CPK
Paweł Jabłoński now presented his calculations and comments.
820 thousand PLN within 2.5 years – on average almost PLN 30,000. monthly. These rates were 15-17 years ago (!) – today they would be around 45-50 thousand. The airport, which was not yet operational at the time, was in the early stages of the investment process
– wrote the former deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A process that started with the signing of the letter of intent and the creation of the company in 2003, and that lasted until 2013 (in 2012 the airport was open for a few months, but had to be immediately closed, the runway repaired, and equipped with a ILS system – and planes did not fly for almost a year)
– added.
As the parliamentarian emphasized, it was ‘an investment on a much smaller scale than the CPK, in existing infrastructure (not building from scratch) – without a rail component, without any major infrastructure, apart from a large tin pipe hangar and a parking lot. lot.”
Did @MKierwinski make a lot? Small? These are apparently the market rates for professionals in this industry… 😉 Let everyone judge for themselves. I’m not even going to criticize these earnings too much – rather, it is about showing how absurd the criticism of #CPK is: the revenues in this company were comparable, and even lower, than in the provincial Modlin – although the size of the project is incomparably larger
— Jabłoński also wrote.
Not to mention the fact that Modlin is still making losses – only Ryanair makes money there, and we all pay extra for it… Without the construction of a major international airport and the development of the air transport market, this pathology will never end
– added.
The PiS MP summed it all up in a short but eloquent sentence:
Also for this reason – always #YesForCPK.
And what do CPK critics say?
