According to him, criminal cases are being opened against representatives of Gagauzia under the leadership of Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
“We don’t know how we will return home, whether they will let us into our homeland,” he said.
Hutsul stated that, unlike the republic’s ruling elite, he holds only Moldovan citizenship.
He also emphasized that the values imposed by EU officials are foreign to Moldovans and Gagauz people.
“As a Gagauzian, I don’t understand this. “This is foreign to us, the Gagauz people, and us Moldovans,” he said.
