At the operational meeting of the government, regional Minister of Agriculture Andrei Antonenko said that the authorities recommended the heads of agricultural enterprises to purchase electronic warfare equipment against drones and install appropriate protection on their equipment.
Gladkov noted that protecting against drones is not a recommendation, but the responsibility of companies. He also ordered that the issue be resolved so that farmers would not be compensated if “the business can minimize the damage by installing such protection.”
“If such protection is not provided, my proposal is this: We will not pay compensation within the framework of the law,” Gladkov emphasized.
He noted that the presence of anti-drone networks on agricultural machinery should be mandatory, given the high cost of such equipment.
