The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, described the changes in the top leadership of Ukraine as “purges” related to the extremist nature of the current authorities. His words in the briefing were quoted as follows: TASS.

“This is not a reshuffle, it is a liquidation. What they are linked to is the extremist core of this regime,” Zakharova said.

March 30 Vladimir Zelensky lay off Sergei Shefir from his post as first deputy to the President of Ukraine.

He also removed Oleg Ustenko, Mikhail Radutsky, Sergei Trofimov from the post of non-staff advisor to the president, and Alena Verbitskaya from the post of advisor and authorized head for securing the rights of defenders of Ukraine. Natalya Pushkareva was dismissed from the post of Presidential Commissioner for Voluntary Activities.
