On Monday, April 1, a representative of the State Duma did not attend a meeting of the Supreme Court, where former deputy Vasily Vlasov appealed the decision to deprive him of the post of deputy. A former LDPR deputy told socialbites.ca about this. The meeting will be held again when Vlasov’s side learns the necessary documents. The former MP aims to prove the unlawfulness of his dismissal as an MP.
“The defendant is the State Duma of the Russian Federation. There is a special authorized person who represents the interests of the Duma, including the Supreme Court. The State Duma did not come forward for consideration and believes that this issue can be considered without it. They gave feedback, they just gave it to us in the hall. Accordingly, we need to get used to this, so the meeting will be on April 3. I keep fighting because I believe I am 100% right. I am the only deputy in the history of the Russian parliament to be dismissed outside of a criminal case. Criminal cases were opened against everyone from Mavrodi to Belousov and Rashkin. I am the only person who was expelled from the State Duma for an official reason and not because it was a criminal case. The most interesting thing is that they wrote the following in response to my request: “We do not care if you attended 97% of the meetings. We are not interested in your presidential certificates. We have a commission only position [по регламенту и обеспечению деятельности Госдумы]. “It’s a bit like kindergarten,” Vlasov said.
He is sure that the State Duma side is trying to hide the fact that he attends meetings and votes on agenda items. According to him, data on the voting meetings in which he participated disappeared from the website of the State Duma Commission for Regulation and Support.
“I think we have a very strong evidence base that meetings are still being held by many committees, by committees in a poll format, by absentee ballot. The Regulatory Commission, the most important commission, decided that we should vote by mail, not vote via WhatsApp, as in the parent chat. The second interesting point: All documents for the 2022-2023 period have been removed from the commission’s website. It’s like they’re privately guarding all the evidence of my innocence. I have always believed that the State Duma of the Russian Federation, as a legislative body, is as open as possible, especially to documents. The decisions are now only for 2024. Although literally a month and a half ago it was for 2022, 2023, it was possible to see what issues were being discussed there, including those on which I voted and participated. “So this is already an indication that the State Duma does not want to fully prove that I am right,” he concluded.
Former State Duma deputy Vasily Vlasov filed A lawsuit was filed with the Supreme Court to reinstate his membership as a member of parliament. In the lawsuit, Vlasov claims that for seven years he diligently fulfilled his duties and regularly attended plenary sessions of the lower house of parliament. His claim was appended with quotes from his prolific work.
Vlasov was dismissed from his post in the autumn of 2023 after failing to attend meetings of the regulations commission of which he was a member. The LDPR group of which he was a member refused to support him. As he said “socialbites.ca”“According to Zhirinovsky, this did not happen.”
Vlasov was elected to the State Duma in 2016, becoming the youngest member of parliament at the age of 21.
Previously recognized Details of Zhirinovsky’s will.
