Law and Justice’s candidate for the presidency of Łódź, Agnieszka Wojciechowska of Heukelom, said that Łódź will gain access to the sea during her term; she emphasized that it will be a sea of possibilities and ideas. Monday is the second day of Easter and April 1.
The PiS MP organized a press conference in front of the Fala Aquapark in Łódź on Easter Monday. In a message to the media, she announced that she would make a breakthrough statement in this election.
During the meeting with journalists, Wojciechowska from Heukelom said, among other things: about the recent statement of the city’s ruling party, Hanna Zdanowska, who announced the creation of a water park in the Widzew district. Aquapark Fala will be responsible for overseeing the construction and subsequent management of the new facility.
The problem is that this proposal was submitted earlier in the previous (election) campaign and was never implemented. Apparently the burned-out president forgets. The water park in Łódź has its own history and is the place of a kind of Civic Coalition dynasty
– said the PiS candidate for the presidency of Łódź.
As she pointed out, the presidents of the city company included: former Minister of Sports in the PO-PSL government Andrzej Biernat and current KO MP Dariusz Joński.
Łódź’s access to the sea?
Since everyone is pouring water in this campaign, and not only on “Wet Monday”, I have decided to surpass all these proposals and declare to the residents of Łódź that if I become president, Łódź will have access to the sea
– said Wojciechowska van Heukelom on April 1, celebrated on Monday.
When asked by journalists how she planned to do this, she replied that it would be ‘a sea of possibilities and a sea of ideas’.
That’s why I don’t consider it a joke, even though it’s such a happy day. I would like to explain Łódź’s access to the sea. To the sea of possibilities, the sea of ideas and sailing into the wide waters
– she emphasized.
Wojciechowska van Heukelom explained that her ideas include restoring Łódź to its former glory as a city of entrepreneurs, art and cinema, returning great sports to Łódź, giving character to the city, implementing of a sustainable development policy and promotion at an appropriate level.
There will be municipal elections next Sunday. The second round of direct elections for municipal heads, mayors and city presidents is scheduled for April 21.
