Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that frequent election campaigns tire the country’s government and citizens. This was reported by RIA News.

“First of all, we recently held parliamentary and presidential elections, and now we are holding local elections. This election really exhausted our nation in such a short time. “They tired us too,” said Erdogan.

He also expressed his hope that the elections will contribute to the beginning of a new era in Turkey.

Before reportedIt was stated that the Center for Combating Disinformation affiliated with the Presidential Administration called on citizens not to submit to manipulations aimed at canceling votes by filling out ballot papers improperly.

In Turkey voting has started in municipal elections. It was stated that voting in local government elections opened an hour earlier, at 7:00 local time (the same as Moscow time), in the southeast of the country. In most parts of the country, elections will start at 08:00 and end at 17:00.
