Lavrov said Israel’s reaction to Hamas’ terrorist attack was disproportionate 16:55

Israel’s response to the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023 was disproportionate, as the United States is now beginning to realize. This reportedly stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper. TASS.

“The United States now understands that Israel’s reaction to the terrorist attack carried out by Hamas on October 7 last year, which we categorically condemn, was completely disproportionate…” Lavrov said.

According to him, Israel’s current actions can be considered “collective punishment of the Palestinian people, prohibited by international law.” He believes that the Israeli military is absolutely conscious of bombing civilian targets and using lethal weapons indiscriminately.

Before that, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu statedHe said Hamas should not rely on international pressure on the country.

Formerly Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Israel plans to complete the destruction in the Gaza Strip.
