Zakharova mocked the head of the State Intelligence Service of Ukraine 00:42

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, laughed at the statements on Telegram of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov (listed as a terrorist and extremist in the Russian Federation). He expressed his opinion in his article channel.

Budanov had previously argued that the messenger posed a threat to Ukraine’s national security but could be used in the country’s interests.

“Following Budanov’s revelations, Pavel Durov urgently needs to take measures to strengthen the security of the company’s headquarters and employees in connection with a possible attack by the banned terrorist organization ISIS,” the diplomat said in a statement.

Previously, the messenger’s threat was discussed in the Verkhovna Rada. Representatives of state institutions may be banned from using Telegram if the platform is recognized as an “opaque network”, according to Yaroslav Yurchyshyn, chairman of the parliament’s committee on freedom of expression.

Budanov highlightedThis is certainly against the suppression of freedom of expression, but in this case anyone can create their own channel on Telegram and start writing whatever they want in it.

Previously in Somalia decided Ban Telegram, TikTok and 1xBet platform.
