Michał Woś, Member of Parliament of Sovereign Poland and former Deputy Minister of Justice, appeared at a hearing before the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into Pegasus. Not only did the services search his room in the parliamentary hotel in the morning and secure a laptop with notes for today’s hearing, but the committee also decided to de facto punish the parliamentarian for… being late. Woś asked for the judgment to be annulled.

The committee voted on the proposal to impose a fine
When the parliamentary investigative committee’s deliberations on Pegasus resumed after Senator Krzysztof Kwiatkowski’s hearing, chairman Magdalena Sroka noted that witness Michał Woś did not appear at the committee meeting.
The next witness called before the committee is Mr Michał Woś. He was informed that the examination of the first witness had been extended and at 12.40 we begin the examination of the Minister, who, as we see, did not appear at the committee meeting. I would like to ask experts and advisors to analyze this situation and speak on whether we should now end the committee meeting and decide on a fine for not showing up at the committee meeting on the scheduled date.
– she said.
Katarzyna Legar, on behalf of the committee’s experts, recommended submitting a request to the court for punishment for failure to appear.
Chairman Sroka put the request to the court to punish the MP to a vote. The motion was passed.
MP Trela requested that Michał Woś be summoned again to the next meeting of the investigative committee.
It is absolutely scandalous that Michał Woś was in the sight of the Investigative Committee and made public statements. Of course he started lying and saying untruthful things. Today we have in our hands the documents that Mr Woś signed and which show that in 2017 he knew everything about what and to whom he transferred the money from the Justice Fund. The current attitude of Mr. Michał Woś is arrogant and arrogant
– he said.
Woś: I showed up at 12 o’clock
Meanwhile, Woś appeared at the committee meeting and stated that he had appeared at the agreed time, and also requested that the proposal to punish him be withdrawn!
I turned up at 12 noon, I was informed by the committee secretary about the delay and that I had to show up around 12.40 and I did. I therefore request that this unjustified disciplinary punishment be waived.
– he explained.
The case was commented on by Wojciech Biedroń, a journalist from the wPolityce.pl portal, Telewizja wPolce and the weekly magazine “Sieci”.
Will the Warsaw court hold a hearing on punishing an investigative committee witness for DELAY??? 😎😎😎😎😎 A precedent worthy of the “seriousness” of the Pegasus Commission 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Respect to Michał Woś for not crying with laughter 😂😂
– wrote on the X platform.
MP Sebastian Łukaszewicz, member of the investigative committee, wrote why Woś was (very slightly) late for the later hearing.
The committee chaired by Magdalena Sroka fined Michał Woś for his alleged absence from the committee meeting. Meanwhile, MP Woś showed up and has already taken the oath. The chairman still has no authority over the committee. The delay was due to the fact that the Bodnar men entered the room on the day of the interrogation. Belarusian standards
– emphasized the politician.
I search Woś’s room
Let us not forget that yesterday, allegedly in connection with the Justice Fund case, the services searched the apartments of several parliamentarians of Sovereign Poland, including a former minister and some former deputy justice ministers. Because the former head of the Ministry of Justice, Zbigniew Ziobro, who was battling cancer in a very advanced stage, was not present at the house, the officers broke open the door and partially dismantled the building’s fencing. MP Woś’s apartment was also searched.
This morning, another MP from Sovereign Poland, Mariusz Gosek, announced on platform X that the services also searched the room of the former Deputy Minister of Justice in the parliamentary hotel. Speaking to journalists ahead of the committee hearing, Woś emphasized that the officers secured only one thing in his parliamentary chamber, and that it had nothing to do with the Justice Fund.
One thing was secured today: a laptop in which I had several files, completely unrelated to FS, including one – my notes in which I prepared for today’s meeting
– said the SP MP.
