Hungary hopes European Parliament elections will bring peace to Ukraine 06:56

Budapest hopes that future European Parliament elections will strengthen its position towards peace in Ukraine. This was stated by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó. TASS.

“I do not think Sweden joining NATO will lead to increased tensions, but I hope that the upcoming European Parliament elections will strengthen the position of pro-peace politicians,” the diplomat said.

According to him, the question of whether peace-loving politicians can win national elections in Europe also plays an important role in resolving the conflict.

The other day, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Szijjártó aforementionedHungary insists that negotiations between Moscow and Kiev should be started as soon as possible.
