Patryk Jaki from Sovereign Poland said on RMF FM that the MEP’s recent criticism of PiS strengthens the United Right camp. ‘It’s not about me, Morawiecki or Duda. It is about something more important: Poland,” Jaki noted.
The United Right has recently been rocked by internal strife caused by critical opinions, which started with unflattering statements by MEP Patryk Jaki about former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, whom he accused of ‘registering nonsense in the European Union’.
This isn’t about me, Morawiecki or Duda. It’s about something more important: Poland. The point is whether to make decisions regarding the signing of the so-called Fit for 55 or payments to Poland subject to the “rule of the left” criterion, when it was said that Poland could not have a system like other countries because it had a worse culture whether it was good or bad. I think it’s bad
– said Patryk Jaki in RMF FM.
Critical words from Patryk Jaki commented a few days ago, former head of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery Michał Dworczyk, PiS MP, said. He declared in a strong statement that the attitude of sovereign Poland towards law and justice is “parasitic”.
Conciliatory words
Jaki also considered that – in his opinion – Michał Dworczyk’s words are not true, and that Sovereign Poland itself guarantees credibility and an unchanging attitude in European politics.
We do not criticize PiS. (…) The same thing I say when it comes to European policy was said by many PiS politicians led by Saryusz-Wolski
– Patryk Jaki noticed.
I can return the favor to Michał Dworczyk. (…) I believe he is an extremely competent politician and important for our camp. He was a great minister. We have to stop here and focus on winning
– added.
The MEP confirmed that he wanted to seek re-election to the European Parliament through the United Right electoral list, noting that he was the leader of one of the groups that make up this list.
A politician from Zbigniew Ziobro’s party also noted that he was in favor of Poland remaining in the European Union and “fighting for it.”
There is a chance that a lot will change in these elections for the European Parliament. It is clear that these green factions are losing support, so let’s not forget that Poland is a very important part of Europe – both historically and factually.
– he explained.
There are areas where (the European Union) still offers an opportunity, for example in the field of the internal market. Everything else, for example the Green Deal (…), is absurd in the name of green ideology
– concluded the MEP.
