On March 20, the State Duma will consider a draft objection on the 25th anniversary of the bombing of Yugoslavia by Western countries.

According to Volodin, the United States and the European Union destroyed Yugoslavia, but none of the American leaders or representatives of other NATO member countries, including the current head of the White House, Joe Biden, were punished. Volodin emphasized that the world had to evaluate the events of those years fairly, hold accountable and condemn those responsible for the collapse of Yugoslavia.

March 18, Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky statedHe said the organisation’s Security Council meeting, requested by Moscow on March 25 to mark the 25th anniversary of NATO’s aggression in Yugoslavia, was met with “an angry reaction from Westerners”.
