President of the European Council Charles Michel said that decisions will be made on transferring the EU economy to a war zone at the EU heads of state summit to be held on March 21-22. Invitation for summit participants has been published press service Council of Europe.
“We must now take radical and concrete measures to go on the defensive and put the European Union economy on a war footing,” Michel said.
He emphasized that EU countries should spend more and buy more weapons together and more efficiently.
“Our main task is to provide urgent military assistance to Ukraine,” the European Council president said.
Michel noted that the European Union should accelerate the purchase and delivery of bullets to Ukraine.
Also President of the European Council in the name EU countries are preparing for war to maintain peace on the continent. Michel called on EU countries to take Russia seriously as a military threat and to be prepared for any scenario.
