“From the very beginning I realized that interrogating Jarosław Kaczyński would not be easy. Jarosław Kaczyński did not want to share his knowledge about Pegasus with the Poles for a long time. After all, he was the first politician to admit that such a system had been purchased,” said Third Way MP Magdalena Sroka, chair of the Pegasus Investigative Committee, on neoTVP Info.
The parliamentarian blames the failure to achieve the goal on the behavior of the PiS parliamentarians.

Of course, the attitude of the PiS members on the committee has not made the issue any easier. Attempts were made to create chaos. He believes that the decision to invite Jarosław Kaczyński to the first hearing was right, even if it was not an easy decision
– she claimed.
I am aware that it was not a nice performance and share this opinion. The behavior of the committee members was not what we should see during a serious matter
– she emphasized.
The oath of the PiS president
Magdalena Sroka also referred to the truncated form of Jarosław Kaczyński’s promise.
Lawyers’ opinions on this are divided. I have interviewed witnesses and suspects many times. (…) A witness before an investigative committee is obliged to hear information about criminal liability. Jarosław Kaczyński heard them too. He did not want to take the oath
—- said Magdalena Sroka.
All evidence is then assessed by the court. (…) It was about throwing myself off balance so that no interrogation would take place. Jarosław Kaczyński showed a negative attitude towards the committee from the start. He was the Deputy Prime Minister for Security and he had a huge responsibility to ensure our security
– she added.
Clear theses were also presented.
The knowledge he had was the knowledge of Kamiński and Wąsik, which was not supported by any opinion. As Vice-President of the Council of Ministers, responsible for security, he did not order expert advice or fulfill his duties. I understand the discussion about taking an incomplete oath, but ultimately the evidence is judged by the court
– Sroka claimed.
Jarosław Kaczyński will return to the committee. He will be interrogated again
– she noted.
Magdalena Sroka’s words sound like a desperate attempt to justify herself as leader while at the same time blaming PiS politicians for the defeat. This is the best evidence that the Pegasus Investigative Committee meeting went differently than planned.
